Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie have settled their differences and are on good terms again, Jon tells Us Weekly.

“We’re in touch, but not regularly,” Jon said. “We love each other and that’s the most important thing.”

Angelina, 34, stopped speaking to Jon in 2001 after he appeared on Access Hollywood asking Ang to seek help for “serious mental problems.”

A source said that Angelina made contact with Jon first, adding, “Brad has been supportive - a key factor in her reaching out.”

If this is true, then good for Brad Pitt for having been a "key factor". Little Shiloh is a spitting image of the old man. I hope he gets to spend a lot of time with all the grandkids.

On a different note - I've been beyond appalled by his political stance over the past couple of years. What made this once Liberal man go so frighteningly Republican is beyond me. On top of that, he's going out of his way to be overly simplistic, and a demagogue. Take the following video, for example. He's too smart to be saying most of this stuff the way he chooses to say it.

Since the year before I've become disappointed in him (after 10+ years of loyal fandom). Nevertheless, after watching the above I was ashamed to admit I still caught really liking it when he smiles, or is joking around. Makes him look like a kid.

He's a douchebag! Obama is not trying to control what car you can drive, or where you can bank. It's people like him that confuses people that don't really understand politics or Obama’s platform. Obama’s health care would help MILLIONS of Americans. Why are there dumb asses out there that are trying to convince Americans getting a FREE Doctor is bad. Who cares if it is government ran! Clearly, the average Joe can not handle that responsibility - check out all the private run banks in the States they need bail outs because they are douchebags ... handing over millions of dollars in bonuses AFTER they were given a bail out. It's all ridiculous. Mad

Yeah the bit about the gov't "telling you what cars you can drive" got a really confused blink out of me. I kept wondering how come none of my US friends have complained to me about that, then concluded Jon was tired that evening. Except then it got worse.

About "the government taking over banks", correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it Bush who first proposed the bank bailout plan? And "Obama taking away God's first gift to man" (THAT choice of words from a guy who was all Women's Lib in the 70s) - whenever I think about the removal of basic freedoms, the Patriot Act comes to mind. I don't believe that was the current president's idea.

The health care plan as such aside, it's so bloody arrogant to sit there and say "I'm here to validate the millions of people who are against it". Why would anyone feel validated by the fact Jon Voight agrees with them about this? He's not an expert on the matter at hand. He's an actor, and not even a terribly well informed one, apparently. America becoming "a socialist state" indeed. Like socialism is a bad thing. (Communism IS something to be very afraid of; socialism however is not the same thing, and there's a number of good things about it.)

Speaking of which, I don't know about America, but confidently speaking on behalf of The People certainly is quite communist. "The American people are happy with the health care they have" - are they, because I keep reading articles where over 70% say they aren't, in one poll after the other. And Huckabee sitting there stroking his ego with this "That's profound stuff you're saying, Jon" crap. It wasn't profound, it was embarrassing. And it's rather blatant propaganda. He's being used.

I hate feeling disappointed in people. It really irritates me. Thank god it doesn't happen to me as often as I'm told it should.

Yeah, I couldn't finish watching it. That kinda stuff fires me up and then I start going off the deep end.

I know many Americans that are not happy with their non-existent health care. And thats the problem. The people who have health care are more than likely happy - which is fine. But, its the millions of American that do not have it - need it and can't afford it, so Obamas plan will help those Americans. But, the republicans don't give a rats ass about anyone other than themselves & Jon Voight is of that company.

I myself do not mind the Patriot Act - I don't have anything to hide. But, clearly that isn't working - just look at Ft. Hood. They had emails and didn't do a damn thing! But, let that be someone who was gay sending emails to their lover and they would have been all over that! Makes me sick. I plan to stay in Canada until the U.S.A. gets with the program and pulls themselves out of the 1700!

I'm actually not happy that they've made up.
I understand that she lost her mother and he's the only parent she has left, but it seems to me that he treated both her mother and his children like dirt. He doesn't deserve to have them in his life.

And just a note on health care if I may interject... Bush did propose the takeover of the banks, but in my opinion, Obama should never have helped carry it out.
No matter who is in power, whether it's Democrats or Republicans, those in power always seem to want more and the problem more than anything else is big government on both sides.
America is supposed to be a free country, run by its people, but we've lost much of our power.
Vote third party, my friends.
It's not a wasted vote...it's a vote against the tyranny of the two-party system.

"I hate feeling disappointed in people."

Yeah, I know the feeling. However, it doesn't irritate me, it hurts me.
