Jim Carey, star of the new holiday movie “A Christmas Carol”, appeared on the “Chelsea Lately” show and said he wanted to call out a few celebrities who he thinks are “spoiled brats”. Chelsea Handler asked if he could start with Tom Cruise and Jim immediately went into his scrooge like character and said, “Oh, set before me a meal – oh my God! A Christmas feast!” He then elaborated saying, “Tom Cruise – let me see – one of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen and, like, a total gentleman and *******. What a jerk!” Carey went off on Angelina Jolie and gave Brad Pit a pass when he said, “Well you really can’t say anything about Brad Pitt. Angelina Jolie? Oh yeah, so she’s the problem for sure, we’re ok with him, seriously, because he can do no wrong.” Jim was on the Chelsea Lately show to help promote his new movie “A Christmas Carol” which is playing in theaters now.

And this is an example of a reporter being totally incapable of recognizing sarcasm when s/he hears it. I didn't see the appearance, there may be more to what was said that clears up the picture. However, based on the quotes above, Jim Carey didn't "give Brad Pitt a pass". He just took a shot at how whenever the press speculate there's something wrong, they assume Pitt could have done no wrong, and go on to blame it on Jolie in some way.
I generally don't comment on content, but news articles today are pathetic. Couldn't help myself. _________________ What's for us will not go past.

In fact, I think he was making reference to people giving her a hard time, being a "homewrecker," when in fact, the man was the one who cheated on his wife, if in fact cheating occurred.

Yeah, I find it kinda weird how the person who cheats kinda takes the back seat of being the horrible person. It seems like the one who slept with the married person is the bad guy.. which is weird to me cause 9 times out of 10 the other party is usually single so why are they the horrible one?! _________________ Always laugh when you can. If you look at it closely, you'll find the above mostly happens when the cheating spouse is a man. He cheats; the wife he cheated on is labeled as 'unfit to keep him, her fault' or the single woman he cheated with gets called 'a homewrecker' (sometimes we get both - we did with Aniston and Jolie).
However, when a wife cheats on her husband or walks out, we rarely get to hear that the guy she cheated with 'stole' her, or is a 'homewrecker'. We don't get told the husband 'deserved' this because 'he couldn't make the marriage work'. Sometimes we do. But it's rare. Usually we hear about the cheating wife being a slut, or someone who has no respect for family values. For a woman to be able to cheat or walk out hassle free, the guy has to be at least a wife beater or a child abuser. Then "society feels" it's understandable if she left - then blames her for not doing it earlier, or for having married him in the first place. _________________ What's for us will not go past.
Yeah I guess. But 9 times out of 10 women who cheat are not cheating for sex. She is usually cheating for attention, emotion and yes sex does end up happening but the start of it isn't because she wants fucked. (Sorry, to be blunt. but its true)
Men usually cheat cause she isn't putting out as much as she use to - or she won't allow him to get it from behind and this other chick will .. or - add a position shes not into.
I also find that men can be cheated on and cont with the relationship as before ... women tend to not beable to cont with the relationship after shes been cheated on.
True Story: One of my best guy friends cheated on his wife. (His words: She isn't fun in bed and never really has been. I love her thou.) He had to tell her because the chick he cheated with gave him a STD. After he cheated - his wife started to cheat (Her words: I didn't feel like he loved me anymore. This guy tells me I am beautiful and he is really fun to hang out with) They are still together today because HE refuses to allow his marriage to be over.
