Angelina Jolie has given people much to marvel at — her philanthropy and her family immediately come to mind. But her superpower ability to grow Teflon skin when her actions attract negative publicity is equally impressive, until now. As it turns out, her biggest enemy isn’t the general public, who could have turned against her for any number of controversial proclivities, but Hollywood itself.
Recently, Rosie O’Donnell told Howard Stern that said she feared Jolie. “There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through. I was a little afraid of her. She’s scary in a sexual kind of way,” O’Donnell said.
Earlier in the year, Megan Fox, whose looks have been compared to Jolie’s, echoed feelings of fear, and told British press, “I’m actually frightened of her. Angelina’s a powerful person, and I bet she would eat me alive. I guess that’s why I’m afraid of her.”

More recently “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart told Blackbook magazine that she hoped not to end up like Jolie, saying, “I don’t want to be a movie star like Angelina Jolie. Nothing about being a celebrity is desirable. I’m an actor.”
So what’s with all the backlash? One high-profile actor, who has worked in film for two decades, said he thinks women in Hollywood might be reacting to a misperception. “Women think she’s gorgeous and sexy and has the perfect life, but I think women think she’s more beautiful than many men think she really is.”

Couldn't help posting this as an example of a) making an article out of a collection of nothings and b) BS (that last paragraph).
About the last paragraph - I certainly have come across men who, whenever I mention her, say "I don't get what all the fuss is about, she's not THAT good looking / special". One can't help but think "sour grapes". But even if I'm imagining it, and "a lot of men" sincerely do think she's not really that beautiful, who the hell cares? WOMEN like the way she looks, lives, works etc. SOME women notice the way she looks, lives, works etc and get intimidated / jealous. That's the bottom line, and it's about women.
I don't know about anyone else, but being told I should shape my opinions based on "many men's" perception of things annoys me. _________________ What's for us will not go past.
Agreed. I also believe it isn’t so much of "Hollywood turning on her" either. When they say they "fear" her it’s not because they think she's going to kill them or anything of the sort - I believe they "fear" her because she IS beautiful, she IS powerful, she has a strong personality. Some men get intimidated because they would stand in her shadow. Women long to stand in her shadow. Me, I just want to lie in her bed! _________________ Always laugh when you can. Yep. Being in a woman's shadow could be the stuff of nightmares for men who lack confidence, which sadly includes about 90% of the male population of this planet. Some men actually take offense at the very existence of people (including male people) who even *seem* like they may be tougher, or just better at something than they are. Could be quite amusing - when it's not being irritating. That's why I make sure to stick to that blessed 10%.

I must that I don't think Kristen Stewart was trying to insult her...I think because of all the press she gets, especially about her and Pattinson, she just means she'd rather be judged by her work.
I wouldn't stop coming around because --- of certain things ...
I watched ET Canada and apparently Angelina went behind Brads back and adopted another child without his knowledge and Brad is cheating on Angelina with a model from some country that I can't remember. Oh and Angelina is a drug abuser. lol. People and their lies! _________________ Always laugh when you can. It is cheapest medicine.
