In short, I've graduated from McGill University (Canada) and time seems to have come to start networking for a job. I would appreciate it if everybody who reads this spreads the word or contacts me if they feel I could work for them. Also if you come across job ads and pass them on to me, I'll be very grateful. Here is some basic information that will probably be useful. You can also see my CV for the details.
Degrees: BA, Political Science Major, Sociology Major
Other areas of study: I've done math, computer science, statistics, religious studies, and English (literature, cultural studies, and a little film and theater).
Things I'm good at:
1. As you have probably discovered, I enjoy designing and maintaining websites. The following is a selection of sites I have done that are currently online (the others aren't anymore). The Amy Nicole project is still under minor construction. Amy Nicole was kind enough to request my services and, being very fond of Wuthering, asked for a similar design. I put the other 2 there because they look different.

So much for the design part. As to maintenance and reliability, the fact Wuthering and TVD are still here despite the numerous impediments I had to deal with since they came to life in the late 1990s, may have given you an accurate idea of how I plough on when I have work to do.
2. I'm a good writer and editor, I write easily and enjoy the process.
3. If there's one thing I have, it's a sense of good structure. It doesn't only apply to text or graphics - I just like things orderly.
4. When I research, I exhaust all the options.
5. I'm good at organizing and coordinating projects, information, as well as people.
6. I do not procrastinate, I respect and always meet deadlines.
7. Languages - English, spoken and written (excellent), Russian, spoken and written (excellent), Bulgarian, spoken and written (excellent, obviously), and basic French. Years ago I also did Greek and Swedish.
8. To reiterate, I've been described as serious and reliable by too many people not to finally decide there's some truth in this.
Some things I've done:
1. In 1993 along with some friends we founded the Young Green Movement of Bulgaria. Among other things, we designed logos, flags and badges for the campaigns of the local Green Party.
2. From 1993 to 1999 I was a volunteer at the Bulgarian Association of University Women.
3. In 1997, I assisted in the organization of the First Women's Meeting under the UN Development program for Bulgaria.
4. In 1998, I had a short story published in a monthly magazine (Moyat priyatel kucheto.)
4. Starting in 2000, I've been an assistant (summer time only) at the Bulgarian Consulting Group and Zlaten Lev Investment Fund, Bulgaria.
5. In the summer of 2000, I was a research assistant for the project Women under the communist regime. Bulgaria 1944-1956, collecting original documentation from media and historical archives.
6. In 2001, following the Work Study program at McGill, I was hired as a webdesign assistant also teaching HTML to the members of the Faculty of English.
7. This summer, I translated (from English) a few educational books on various subjects for Egmont, Bulgaria Publishing House.
8. I'm currently among the people working on the La Guardienne voluntary non-profit web project, which focuses on humanitarian issues all over the world.
